The national women’s team, Super Falcons have started camping in Abuja ahead of a 2012 Olympics qualifying match against Namibia, scheduled to take place at the beginning of next month.
Angola overcame Namibia over two legs in the preliminary round and will find out if their strength is real when they confront the African champions home and away in the month of April.
Nigeria host the first leg on April 2 with the return leg in Luanda two weeks later.
A fortnight later, the Falcons will again be stepping out for a 2011 All-Africa Games qualifier, against the winner between Ghana and Benin Republic.
The second leg will take place away in mid-May, when the Falcons are expected to head for Europe for their pre-FIFA Women’s World Cup training camp.
