Yaba Queens, Real Dynamo For Final

Yaba Queens Football Club will on Friday at the Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos Island lock horns with their Real Dynamo counterparts in the final of the Ekofootball Women Football Championship.

Yaba Queens defeated Young Talented FC by 4 goals to 1, while the Real Dynamo ladies beat Helen Babes by 3-1 to qualify for the final of the competition.

The Lagos State Football Association board member and the Chairman of the Women Football Committee, Wale Joseph informed that the final of the competition promises to be exciting as every logistics have been put in place to make it a memorable event.

“It is would be a colourful one because we at the Lagos State Football Association are very passionate about the development of women football at the grassroots and I want to assure you that these ladies will get every support from us.

“Apart from trophy and medals for the three top teams, there is also going to be cash reward for all the winners,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the final of the championship which has produced 42 goals will kick off by 1pm with the third place match between Helen Queens and  Talented Babes Football Club.
