Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola, has condemned the unprofessional attitude of members of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, and government officials who barge into the team's dressing room at half time.

Fashola, who acknowledged that Nigerian soccer fans believed that they are football coach, said the half time in a football circle was strictly reserved for the handler of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi, to take technical decisions having observed the team's mistakes before the break, adding that the technical crew should be given the respect to take absolute control of the Eagles.

The Governor, who advised the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to set a time line for the team's technical crew so as to meet up with their demands, said the Super Eagles as well as the NFF should work harder to dominate African football scene for a period of ten years as the dominant right of two years is not enough.

He said the Nigerian spirit was part of the elements responsible for the Eagles victory at the African Cup of Nations which came to a close on the tenth of February, in South Africa and that the NFF should endeavor to maintain its African champion title because Nigeria would be a team  to defeat in Africa and the world.

He said Nigeria that played a vital role in restructuring the Confederation of African Football, CAF, goes not have a weight in CAF politics and the trend has deprived Nigeria's former internationals of sensitive positions at CAF, stressing that Mitchel Platini, a former French International is the President of UEFA because his country was able to play football politics very strongly.

Fashola, said the NFF must endeavor to set a time table for the government at all levels, change its laws and management of football in  a bid to regenerate the standard of football in Nigeria, adding that Eagles handler, Stephen Keshi, needs the support of Nigerians and the NFF.  to excel at an organized international competition.
