Vincent Enyeama Almost Miss Chartered Arik Airline To Nigeria.

The Nigeria Football Association,NFA, lack of managerial skills has came to fore again as the association almost denied Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama and another FA officials from boarding the chartered Arik Airline from South Africa.

Reports have it that Vincent Enyeama and an official of the NFA was not included in the list of Nigerian contingent to board the chartered flight to Nigeria as it took the timely intervention of the South African government because the goalkeeper. The team arrived Nigeria on Tuesday aboard a chartered flight as the team was received by President Goodluck Jonathan where the football players as well as the players were rewarded for the feat.

President Goodluck Jonathan announced a cash gift of 5 million naira to each member of the victorious Super Eagles and the team’s three assistant coaches that clinched the gold medal in the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

While the Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, was given 10 million naira, members of the technical crew were also given 2 million naira each.

The cash gifts also came with a plot of land and national honors for each member the team.
