Taribo West Cautions Osaze.

Written By sportsweight.blogspot.com on Monday, February 25, 2013 | 12:31 AM

Former Super Eagles defender, Taribo West, has warned West Bromich Albiom forward, Osaze Odewingie, not to rub his misfortune or problems on Nigerian former internationals who had pave the way for him to achieve success in his football career.

"As i said earlier, if osaze have problems or misfortune about his personal career, he should not be extending that especially to people who have gone ahead of him, who has even created the way for him to become what he is today".

"In that kind of situation, he should be careful of how drops words.A couple of months ago, i read in a national daily, how he was insulting Keshi, Victor Ikpeba and Austin Okocha, saying Jay Jay is not capable, he is not even a person to be involved with technical issues, he blast them big time"

The former Inter Milan defender, who cautioned Osaze to be mindful of his choice of words while addressing Nigerian internationals, said it seems that the West Bromich Albiom forward had a psychological problems for lambasting Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi and the members of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, technical committee, Victor Ikpeba and Austin Okocha.

'He said Ikpeba was speaking against him on Super Sport. The fact of the truth is that Osaze, seems to have pschological problems.I do not know if it is his own personal issue or what he has been going through especially at the club level".

But even to say what he said, it shows that Osaze cannot be a role model that can carry along young generation of Nigerian football players into the premiership that young men use to look for.

West, who believed that Osaze could not be a role model to Nigerian Premier League Players who want to play in the English Premier League, adding that Osaze could only fight for his course after his football career by returning home to correct the anormalies in Nigerian football through a football union.

"Osaze, is just out of key.If Osaze want to fight,Yes, we have problem with a lot of generation of players who after their football career are faced with different challenges"

"Osaze, should leave his football career, come back home and fight the system by forming a union and not staying in England and continue to embarass Nigerian football coaches and former Nigerian internationals".

He said it was a shame that Nigerian internationals do not have a platform to form a union to fight for each other as the trend has created division between the current generation of Nigerian football players and the other Nigerian players, adding that the Nigerian system has created a vacuum and it would take a long time for Nigerian football players to come under one umbrella to hear their voice.
