Lagos Hosts Major League Trials

Nigeria Baseball and Softball Federation in conjunction with Lagos Baseball and Softball Association have concluded all arrangement to organise three days programme for major league trial.

It was gathered that the programme will hold from 3-5 October at CMS Grammar School, Bariga. The first two days, according to the organisers, will be for coaching clinic for schools’ Game Masters, coaches and interested individuals.

The trials proper will start on the last day which is Sunday.

“We are expecting about 120 athletes from other states who are coming for the trials in Lagos. A  total of five players and three coaches from Nigeria will be selected to represent country in a tournament in South Africa in December which will serve a trial for the world championship,’ said the Chairperson of Lagos Baseball and Softball Association, Mrs. Antonia Onuorah
