Quadri's Fore- hand Is Deadly, Says Assar

The champion of this year's edition of International Table Tennis Federation,ITTF, World Tour tagged Lagos Open,Omar Assar, of Egypt, says he is honored and happy to retain the tournament's Men's Singles tittle because it would elevate his rating in the next ITTF rankings.
Assar, defeated Silva Andre of Portugal by four straight set of 11- 8, 11- 9, 11- 3, 11- 7, in the semi final game also out smashed Aruna Quadri, who is currently Africa's number one ping ponger and thirty- one in the world, by four set to two, 12- 10, 13- 15,
7- 11,11- 8, 11- 8, 11- 8.
The Egyptian player, said he was able to defeat Quadri because he changed his technique of playing to offensive against Quadri who is an experienced player, adding that they both played fantastic game to the delight of table tennis fans who were thrilled with skills exhibited them.
The world's number thirty- seven, who described Aruna Quadri as a good player whose foot-work is excellent, said he deliberately slowed the game pace because Quadri fore- hand stroke is unbelievable and outstanding.
