The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has instructed its Technical and Development Committee to work in tandem with its Integrity Office with the mindset of shortlisting prospective candidates for the position of Technical Director.
The position, was being held by former Nigeria's international, Bitrus Bewarang, is a contract staff, whose deal with the NFF has expired hence the reason why the federation deem it necessary to employ new technical director.
The Board instructed its Technical and Development Committee to work in tandem with the NFF Integrity Office to submit to the Board, within the next five (5) days, a shortlist of candidates to be selected by the Board for the position of NFF Technical Director.
The federation, also mandated the committee to, in the next one week, and working with its Integrity Office, provide candidates for the positions of Head Coaches of Flying Eagles, Flamingos and the Under 15 Boys national team, as well as candidates for the position of Consultant on Coaches Training and Development.
The Executive Committee mandated its Youth Football Committee to conclude the modalities for the staging of the first-ever Under 15 Future Super Falcons’ Tournament, in the mode of the NFF/Zenith Bank Under 15 Super Eagles Championship that has been running for the past four years.
