Former member of the NFF Executive Committee, Senator Obinna Ogba, has been endorsed as the Chairman of the Nigeria National League, NNL.
Ogba, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Sports,is to replace Chidi Ofo Okenwa, the former chairman of NNL, who died on Tuesday, May 5th, 2020.
The Committee endorsed a proposal for the nomination of Senator Obinna Ogba, a former Member of the NFF Executive Committee and currently Chairman of the Senate Committee on Sports, to replace Hon. Chidi Ofo Okenwa, who died on 5th May 2020, on the Executive Board and as Chairman of the Nigeria National League.
Senator Ogba is expected to work alongside with the NNL's Chief Operating Officer, COO, Emmanuel Adesanya.
The league's Acting chairman, Nasir Mohammed, who is the independent vice chairman of the board, will handover to the new boss even as the NNL secretariat is to be relocated from the FIFA goal project office to the NFF former office in Abuja.
