The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, is ready to share the sum of two million dollars across the various football clubs and governing bodies of the various national football leagues.
The NFF, which met on Monday through video conference to deliberate on Nigerian football, was giving a nod to share the lump sum of money after due consultation with the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports,
After consultations with the leadership of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Board endorsed the proposal from the Secretariat for the lump sum of $2,000,000.00 (Two Million American Dollar Only) to be shared across the various Clubs and governing bodies of the various Leagues, viz Nigeria Professional Football League, Nigeria National League, Nigeria Women Football League and the Nigeria Nationwide League.
The league bodies are, the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, Nigeria National League, NNL, Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL and the Nigeria Nationwide League.
The NFF, which sees the gesture, as a booster for the preparation ahead of the 2020/2021 League Season, said the sum of one million dollars, is meant for the restart of the NPFL while five hundred thousand dollars would be dedicated to support women's football
