Former Nigeria International, Henry Nwosu, has called on Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, to accomodate Nigeria's football players who are playing regularly for their respective clubs either premier league or lower division.
The former Flying Eagles coach, said the country did not have arrays of football players who are currently playing top-football in Europe and beyond, thus, the Super Eagles coach should endeavor to beam his searchlight on Nigerian football players who command regular shirt in their respective clubs.
According to him, the list of Nigerian players to be invited to camp, ahead of the African Cup of Nations, Afcon, qualifier against Tanzania and other crucial matches should include Nigeria's domestic league players who are in good form, adding that, the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, have qualify players who could make the team alongside the foreign based players.
Nwosu, appealed to teh former Eagles captain not to discard players who played under the supervision of immediate past Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, but invite credible and experienced players among them in a bid to form a technical sound Super Eagles that would be a pride of Africa.
On the sack of Kano Pillars coach, Okey Emordi, the former Green Eagles midfielder, said club owners should desist from sacking of their coaches based on the club's poor performance in the league, adding that, coaches should be given the opportunity to stay put with a club irrespective of its position on the league table.
According to him, Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger, is an authority in the English Premier League because he has been with the club for a long period despite the club's beautiful and ugly days.
